David Field, Vestry Member
I’ve been a member of St. John’s since 1976, served on the Vestry for several years back in the early 2000s, have served as Head Lector for more than 10 years and chaired the Finance Committee since 2013. I hold B.S. and M.S. degrees in Forestry from the University of Maine and a PhD from Purdue University. I worked for the United States Forest Service in the early 1960s and served on the faculties of Yale university (five years) and the University of Maine (30 years), where I chaired the Department of Forest Management. My avocation is the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, especially in Maine. I’m a licensed Maine forester and specialize in Forest Economics.
