Inez Toothaker

Since becoming a member of St John’s Episcopal Church in the early 1970s, I have participated in various activities, including being a member and past president of the Women’s Guild, teaching Sunday school, and volunteering in the church office.  Currently, I serve on the Altar Guild, coordinate memorial altar flowers, and I am a 2nd year participant in the Education for Ministry program. The most important issue facing St John’s Church at this time is the urgent need to raise funds to repair the building.  I would be interested in helping with this endeavor.  I have had experience in public relations and fund raising in my past employment as Development Assistant at Bangor Theological Seminary, and as Community Resources Coordinator at John Bapst Memorial High School.  I have taught English as an adjunct faculty member of Husson College, and currently I operate a small shop, Country Cottage Antiques in Newburgh during the summer months.
