I have been a member of St. John’s congregation since 2008 with an earlier stint from 1997-1999 and I reside in Bangor with my children and husband. Recently I completed Year One (The Old Testament year!) of the EFM 4-year program and hope to resume year 2 after the COVID hiatus ends. I currently serve on the Investment and Finance Committees and have served as Treasurer in the past. Also, have enjoyed volunteering for many fundraisers including Homes for Holidays and the CLYNK recycling program. We’ve hosted Stewardship and Family Picnic events and have enjoyed meeting and eating sheet cake with many wonderful fellow parishioners.
I am excited to fill the 1-year vacancy on Vestry 2021. After such a challenging year in our lives and parish life, the most urgent issue is continuity and ensuring our parish life together continues and strengthens.
I have been a senior officer for the Camden National Wealth Management group for 13 years and an attorney/trust officer since my career began in 1995 and have served on a number of non-profit boards locally and in our former home in Florida. If elected to vestry, I hope to contribute to positive deliberation and decision making for the future of St Johns.
