Kelsi Hobbs – Vestry Member

Dr. Kelsi Hobbs is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Maine. She lives in a downtown Bangor apartment with her dog, Jake. Kelsi was born and raised in Portsmouth, NH; but she considers Mebane, NC home. She spent 12 of her most formative years in the southeast and the deep south — living in both North Carolina and Alabama during that time. She moved back to the northeast in fall 2021 to start her job at UMaine. She’s been attending St. John’s for a “few years” (because she can’t remember how many it’s been). She continues to attend and participate at St. John’s because she finds it to be a place where she can ask questions, learn, reflect, and be surrounded by people who truly try to live out what they believe.

If you would like to reach Kelsi, you can contact her here.
