Jacqueline Camm has identified as an Episcopalian for nearly 30 years, having been baptized at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in Annapolis Maryland, in 1996 and confirmed at St. Paul’s in Wickford Rhode    Island in 1998.  She holds a BA in comparative literature from the  University of Rhode Island, and spent her first career in non-profit communications in New England, Tennessee, Florida and Colorado before returning to URI 16 years later to pursue an MS in cell and    molecular biology.   She attended medical school at the University of New England, graduating in May, and is now completing her training as a Family Medicine physician at EMMC.  She moved to Bangor in June along with her golden retriever, Sasha, and her cat, Tofu.  If she were to have the luxury of free time, she would most likely spend it in one of her creative hobbies such as painting, pottery or poetry, or she might be exploring the forests or shorelines nearby.  She has 3  remarkable children: Evan, Simon and Willow Travis, who have chosen more southern climes in which to study their interests of environmental conservation, English and animation.  She visited St. John’s on her first Sunday in Bangor and knew she had found her church home.
