Lay Eucharistic Ministers (LEM)

If anyone you know would like to receive communion please let us know.

Active Members serve the Eucharist to sick and homebound Parish Members, allowing us to connect our home-bound parishioners with us and we with them, by regular monthly visits with communion. We who are many are one body, because we all share one bread, one cup.

Baptismal Samplers

We make a counted cross stitch sampler for a child that is being baptized in our church for a reminder of this special time. It is usually worked on 16 or 18 count aida cloth. If anyone is interested in helping or learning how to do this, we would like to have you join us.

Prayer Shawls

Knitted by the parish, and given to anyone who would appreciate a shawl. Members knit prayer shawls which are then distributed to those in need of the love and support of our community and to those celebrating special events in their lives.  Some shawls are donated to hospice groups for distribution. Completed shawls can be dropped off at the church office Monday – Thursday between 9:00am and 3:00pm or Friday between 9:00am and noon. For more information, please contact Lorna.
