Ken Huhn, Vestry Treasurer

Ken Huhn is a resident of Bangor and a member of St John’s for 31 years. He has two boys, age 42 & 34. His oldest son, John, works in building renovation & has been a member of St. John’s for 25 years and currently serves as an usher. Ken’s younger son, Jeff, has been a member of St John’s for about 20 years and is a former acolyte. A graduate of Maine Maritime Academy, Jeff works for the Navy at the Portsmouth Naval shipyard. Ken has worked in healthcare for 58 years. Originally from Ohio, Ken holds a Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Akron, a Masters degree in Organization Development and Management from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland,  a Diploma in Respiratory Therapy from the University of Chicago and did graduate work in Economics at Xavier University.  Ken currently is a Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT), a credentialed Hospital Administrator (FACHE), a Muti-level Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and a Preceptor for the training of Administrators in training (AIT) for Nursing Homes. Ken has served on the Vestry of St. John’s for 3 previous terms as Treasurer, 4 terms as Chair of the Finance Committee, 10 years as the Chair of the endowment sub-committee, as well as over 20 years on the Finance Committee.
